Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Cloud Support Specialist is responsible for any or all of the following activities:
Operations and Maintenance:
•Act as the Subject Matter Expert by providing, recommending, implementing and maintaining OpenShift security configuration.
•Familiarize with security application system requirements and work with service providers and application SMEs to meet application requirements.
•Install, configure and maintain the cloud-based security applications using documentation and assistance from vendors support as required.
•Customize and maintain application configuration files and settings to achieve functional objectives defined by the organization and industry best-practice.
•Onboard all cloud-based solutions to the appropriate security information and event logging platform.
•Document all custom configurations not covered by vendor documentation.
•Ensure all planned changes are managed using Change Management best practices.
•Help to ensure OS and application upgrades and patches are completed in a timely manner as required.
•Ensure compliance with CGI Global Security standards.

Monitoring, Incident Reporting
•Define, implement and monitor operational and performance objectives for the applications in scope.
•Monitor the cloud-based security applications for availability, performance and usage and other monitoring tools.
•When the cloud-based security applications falls below operational and performance objectives, report Incidents using the appropriate method & work towards problem resolution.

Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution
•When cloud-based security solution iIncidents are reported, troubleshoot and determine root cause and required corrective action in a timely manner.
•If required, work with application SMEs and CGI internal and external service providers to resolve Incidents.
•Ensure lessons learned through root cause analysis and troubleshooting are documented.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
•Continuously look for opportunities to share knowledge with teammates using oral and written communication skills.
•Help project teams achieve their cost, schedule and quality goals by completing tasks on time and with quality.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

The candidate should be passionate about cybersecurity, love to solve technical challenges and be on the bleeding edge of technology. This member should also be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of infrastructure operations and in-depth knowledge and experience around cloud provider solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP), cloud workload log management, log monitoring and Cloud SIEM solutions. If you are a creative self-starter who uses their knowledge, skills and experience to get things done, then this job is for you!

Experience / Expertise
The ideal candidate should have expertise and strong experience (5+ years) in at least two (2) of the following areas:
•RedHat OpenShift Platform Administration
•Microsoft Azure Sentinel Administration
•Cloud Security Infrastructure Support
•Security Application Support
•Security Infrastructure Support
•Information Technology, DevOps, SecDevOps

Education and Certifications
•Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Systems/Software Engineering is required.
•Relevant certifications are highly desirables.
oRed Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator
oAZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies
oSC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
oSC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

Cloud Security Application Support Experience:
•Cloud container security (Kubernetes)
•Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP)
•Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
•Administering cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, GCP, AWS)
•Cloud Monitoring Solution (Azure Sentinel)
•Cloud platform logging (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel, Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor Logs, Intune, MS Defender)
•Automated infrastructure provisioning (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Jenkins)
•Identity and access management in cloud environments (e.g. Azure Active Directory)
•Understanding of enterprise scale cloud subscriptions
•Understanding of hybrid cloud environments

Skills:
•Strong understanding of Linux based operating systems.
•Scripting (bash shell scripting, python, etc.)
•Common data formats such as JSON, YAML, XML, Markdown
•Atlassian JIRA/Confluence, Remedy ITSM, ServiceNow.
•Service Management / IT operations, ITIL version 3 & 4
•Security Operation Center (SOC) experience
•Communication (Oral/Written) (English and French a major plus)

Position Description:

The Global Security (GS) organization of which the Global Security Operation Center (GSOC) is part, is responsible for the protection and defense of CGI members, assets and data using logging, monitoring, SIEM/SOAR, endpoint security and other advanced on-prem and cloud technologies.

As a member of the GSOC team, the Cloud Support Specialist will be responsible for daily operations, maintenance and monitoring of cloud-based security solutions (for example Azure Sentinel, Redhat OpenShift) to ensure the availability and performance of cloud-based security solutions.
